American Illuminating Company has entered into an agreement to sell its total equity interest to WWCD, LLC or a wholly owned subsidiary/sister company of WWCD, LLC
American Illuminating Company is a retail electric supplier licensed in Illinois but has yet to initiate service to customers. American Illuminating Company has no assets other than the Illinois license and has never conducted any business in any jurisdiction.
American Illuminating Company is wholly owned by David Cohen.
WWCD, LLC, which was recently formed in November per Illinois Secretary of State records, is wholly owned by Ian I. Yavitz.
WWCD does not, directly or indirectly, own, operate or control electric generation facilities, transmission facilities, natural gas storage or distribution facilities or any other inputs to power production. WWCD is not affiliated with any franchised public utility in the United States.
