TXU Energy Launches 100 Percent Texas Solar Electricity Plan

TXU Energy has announced that it is offering what it calls the Texas electric market's first electricity plan that's 100 percent backed by solar power generated in Texas, called TXU Energy Solar Advantage

In the Oncor service area, the TXU Energy Solar Advantage plan is offered as a 36-month fixed rate with an average all-in rate at 1,000 kWh usage of 13.7¢/kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 8.7¢/kWh, a pass-through of TDU charges, and a base charge of $9.95 per month

An early cancellation fee of $295 applies, which is waived within the first 60 days for new customers if the customer is not satisfied with the plan
