Stream Offering Plan With Free Smart Thermostat in Texas, Mid-Atlantic States

Stream has begun offering a Smart 30 Thermostat Plan, which is a 30-month fixed rate term energy plan that includes a free Honeywell Lyric smart thermostat (a value of $249)
The plan is currently available to residential customers in Texas, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.
Features of the Honeywell Lyric Thermostat include:
• Control the thermostat from anywhere using smart devices
• Geofencing technology which automatically adjusts the temperature in the customer's house based on the customer's location as they travel to and from their home.
• At-a-glance weather to help tailor the thermostat settings each day.
• One-touch shortcuts on a customer's mobile app to customize temperature settings for specific times of the day.
• A Fine Tune feature to maintain a steady 72 degrees, so it feels like 72 degrees regardless of humidity levels.
• Mobile alerts to remind customers to change their filter
At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, Stream's Smart 30 Thermostat Plan includes an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh, of 10.2¢/kWh, reflecting an energy charge of 5.4¢/kWh, and TDU charges of $5.67 per month and 4.216¢/kWh; a minimum usage charge of $9.95 applies if usage is below 999 kWh in a billing month
At Oncor, Stream's Smart 30 Thermostat Plan includes an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh, of 9.8¢/kWh, reflecting an energy charge of 5.8¢/kWh, and TDU charges of $5.25 per month and 3.482¢/kWh; a minimum usage charge of $9.95 applies if usage is below 999 kWh in a billing month
A $250 early termination fee applies to the Texas plans. The fee varies by state
