New Freepoint Commodities Retail Supplier Receives License

The Maine PUC granted American Edison LLC a competitive retail electricity provider license to serve all customer classes at Central Maine Power, Bangor-Hydro Electric, and Maine Public Service. As exclusively reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, American Edison LLC is a new retail electric supplier established by Freepoint Commodities LLC. In its Maine application, American Edison said that it, "plans to grow its retail customer base and to expand the footprint of its service areas in the coming months, including, potentially, through the acquisition of one or more existing retail supply businesses."

Power-Mark Resources Receives New License

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Power-Mark Resources LLC an electric broker/marketer to license to serve all sizes of residential and commercial customers in all service areas.
