AGL Resources Retail Energy Suppliers Report Customer Growth

AGL Resources reported that its retail energy supplier reported customer growth for the period ending December 31, 2015
AGL Resources' retail suppliers, which market under SouthStar Energy Services and other brands, were serving 645,000 customers as of December 31, 2015, up from 642,000 as of September 30, 2015 and 628,000 a year ago
SouthStar Energy Services' market share in Georgia at December 31, 2015 was 29.7%, versus 30% at September 30, 2015 and 30.6% a year ago.
AGL Resources' retail suppliers served the following annual volumes (in Bcf):

At December 31, 2015, AGL Resources' retail segment was also serving nearly 1.2 million service contract customers
In 2016, AGL Resources intends to continue efforts in its retail operations segment to enter into targeted markets and expand energy customers and service contracts.
AGL Resources' retail operations reported fourth quarter 2015 EBIT of $37 million, up from $30 million a year ago
