MP2 Energy LLC recently launched a residential shared solar offer in Texas, sourced from a Texas solar farm outside Houston, with 100% renewable energy provided to customers for consumption not covered by the shared solar

MP2 Energy will purchase solar output from Harvest Moon Renewable Energy Company's solar farm in Sealy, Texas. When the sun isn’t shining, MP2 Energy will buy 100 percent renewable energy from other Texas projects, as well as renewable energy certificates (RECs), for all of the electricity that can’t be supplied from Harvest Moon.

MP2 Energy's Farm to Market Solar Energy with Harvest Moon plan, available in the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, is a 100% renewable, five-year fixed plan with an all-in average rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 12.5¢/kWh. This reflects a fixed energy rate of 7.8¢/kWh and a pass-through of TDU charges.

MP2 is preparing to announce a similar, and much larger, farm-to-market solar initiative for Dallas-area residents.

There is no early termination fee
