ConEdison Solutions Reports Customer Data, Volumes; Updates on Sale of Retail Electric Business

In reporting earnings yesterday, Consolidated Edison, Inc. reported customer and volume data for the retail electricity supply business of ConEdison Solutions

At December 31, 2015, ConEdison Solutions was serving approximately 143,000 mass market non-aggregation customers, and 42,000 industrial and large commercial accounts. This compares to 123,000 non-aggregation mass market customers and 35,000 industrial and large commercial accounts in 2014

Additionally, at December 31, 2015, ConEdison Solutions was serving 143,000 aggregation customers

ConEdison Solutions’ electricity sales for 2015 were 13,594 GWh, versus 11,871 GWh a year ago

Regarding Consolidated Edison, Inc.'s previously reported sale process for the retail electric supply business of ConEdison Solutions, the company in a 10-K said that it expects the sale to close within the next twelve months.
