Update 3/17: The Public Utility Commission of Ohio approved the result of the auction including the price listed below
From 3/16/16:
Duke Energy Ohio's March 2016 auction for a portion of default service supplies for the period June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2018 resulted in a tranche-weighted average price of winning bids of $48.34/MWh, according to a post-auction report
The auction awarded 17 tranches for SSO supply for a delivery term of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2018
There were five winning bidders
Results remain subject to PUCO approval
