AEP Texas TDU Would Add 1¢/kWh Charge To Retail Providers Serving Small C&I Customers (TCC, TNC New DCRF Amounts Filed)

AEP Texas Central and AEP Texas North Company have flied amounts that would be charged to retail electric providers under their sought Distribution Cost Recovery Factors (DCRF), which is proposed to take effect September 1, 2016

The DCRF would be a new rider charged to retail electric providers for certain distribution costs not reflected in base rates.

AEP Texas Central filed to implement the following DCRFs:

Residential        $0.002916 per kWh
Secondary ≤10 kW   $0.007948 per kWh
Secondary >10 kW    
    IDR            $0.582794 per kW
    Non IDR        $0.582794 per kW
Primary              
    IDR            $0.512570 per kW
    Non IDR        $0.512570 per kW
Transmission       $0.009600 per kW

AEP Texas North filed to implement the following DCRFs:

Residential        $0.004186 per kWh
Secondary ≤10 kW   $0.011105 per kWh
Secondary >10 kW    
    IDR            $0.715700 per kW
    Non IDR        $0.715700 per kW
Primary              
    IDR            $0.321678 per kW
    Non IDR        $0.321678 per kW
Transmission       $0.028480 per kW
