New LS Power Retail Supplier Adds Market Veterans To Leadership

LifeEnergy, LLC, the new retail supplier formed by LS Power, has disclosed additional senior management in an application for a Pennsylvania electric supplier license

As previously reported, LifeEnergy, LLC will be managed by chairman and chief executive officer Zin Smati, who previously served as resident and chief executive officer of GDF Suez Energy North America

Robert Stibolt will serve as Vice President of Supply & Strategy for LifeEnergy. Stibolt previously served as Managing Director at JP Morgan, where he was Head of Market Risk for Global Principal Energy Investments, and as Senior Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer at Bear Energy L.P. Additionally, Stibolt previously served as Sr. Vice President of Strategy, Portfolio & Risk Management at Suez Energy North America and was most recently Senior Managing Director at Galway Group LP

Neil McKellar will serve as Vice President of Operations for LifeEnergy. McKellar previously served as Vice President of Supply & Pricing at Provider Power, and previously led the power and natural gas sales teams at Shell Energy as General Manager, Aggregators (Mass Market B2C Retailers)

Phillip Golden, an attorney and retail energy veteran, is also initially serving as a consultant to LifeEnergy

In Pennsylvania, LifeEnergy sought to serve all customer classes in all service areas and said that it is initially targeting residential and small commercial customers
