Market Veteran Joins Retail Supplier As CEO, Australian Market Vet Also Joins As EVP

Gregory Craig recently joined retail supplier Star Energy Partners as CEO
Craig previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Commerce Energy
Craig is a member of the Board, past Chairman, and holder of investment interests in Anahau Energy, an energy marketing and trading company
Craig previously founded and served for 15 years as CEO of wholesale supplier and trader Cook Inlet Energy Supply, LLC, which was acquired by Macquarie Bank of Sydney, Australia in November 2005. Craig served for two years as CEO of Macquarie Cook Energy
Additionally, Nicholas Bain recently joined Star Energy Partners as Executive Vice President.
Since 2009, Bain had served as Chief Executive Officer of Graphite Energy, based in Sydney, Australia, which is developing thermal storage technology in both the U.S. and Australia
Bain has been involved in the development of new energy retail concepts in both Australia and the U.S., combining BPO technology and access to renewable and wholesale generation to deliver lower cost power for mass market consumers.
Prior to founding Graphite Energy, Bain held several positions at Allco over a 17-year career including head of infrastructure at Allco Finance Group. In 2005, he established Allco Wind Energy which undertook the development of wind assets in the US, Europe and Australia
The recent leadership additions at Star Energy Partners were disclosed in its application for a Maryland electric supplier license, as Star Energy Partners seeks to serve all customer classes at the four investor-owned utilities
