Massachusetts Default Service Rates To Decrease 25%

Western Massachusetts Electric Co. (Eversource) has filed new default service rates for the period beginning July 1, 2016

The proposed new residential default service rate of 7.708¢/kWh is about 25% lower than the current rate of about 10.4¢/kWh

WMECO rates are below in ¢/kWh, and include the Default/Basic Service Adders and Renewable Portfolio Standard and Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard Adders
