North American Power Launches Retail Supplier Focused on C&I Market

North American Power officially announced the launch of its North American Power Business brand which will focus on enrolling commercial customers, particularly through brokers

Following a soft launch, North American Power Business is now active in Texas at AEP Texas Central, AEP Texas North, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, Oncor, and Texas-New Mexico Power

North American Power Business's creation had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com last year

North American Power Business is led by CEO Deryl Brown, chief information officer Jim Crysdale, chief sales officer Kris Hertel, COO Jason Bear, and senior business development manager Taylor Brown. Deryl Brown and Jim Crysdale serve in their same respective roles for North American Power’s residential business.

North American Power Business said that the company will soon be ready to enter new C&I markets outside of Texas

"At this time, our aim is to enter New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania for both electricity and natural gas by the end of this year," Brown said.

North American Power Business said that it has created a proprietary broker sales portal and broker commission portal

North American Power Business is based in Bedford, Texas, while North American Power continues to be headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut and serve residential electricity and natural gas customers across 12 states. North American Power serves over 250,000 residential customers.
