Ambit Energy Launches Service In New Territories

Ambit Energy has begun offering service at Ohio Edison, Toledo Edison, and Cleveland Electric Illuminating (the FirstEnergy Ohio EDCs) in Ohio.

Ambit Energy's intent to begin service at these EDCs in November had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com

Ambit previously launched service at AEP Ohio, Duke Energy Ohio (both gas and electric) and Columbia Gas of Ohio

At Cleveland Electric Illuminating, Ambit is offering residential customers the following (cents per kWh):

3 Months Fixed                5.50¢
6 Months Fixed                5.75¢
12 Months Fixed               5.00¢
12 Months Fixed, 100% Wind    7.00¢
Variable                      4.50¢
Variable, 100% Wind           6.50¢

There are no early termination fees for any of the products

Ambit serves more than 1.3 million customers nationwide and recorded revenue of $1.37 billion in 2015.
