Retail Natural Gas Supplier Takes Step To Launch Retail Electricity Business

LE Energy LLC d/b/a Utility Gas and Power applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
Through subsidiaries, LE Energy is currently active in the Michigan and Illinois retail natural gas markets but, to date, has not served electricity customers. LE Energy's intention to expand to retail electricity sales had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in July
LE Energy also applied for an Ohio natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
LE Energy operates retail suppliers Utility Gas and Power LLC, which is active in the Illinois retail natural gas market, and Michigan Natural Gas LLC, which is active in the Michigan retail natural gas market
