Champion Energy Services, LLC has filed a notice of intent with the Public Utility Commission of Texas to provide prepaid electric service using a customer prepayment device or system (CPDS)
Specifically, Champion's' prepaid service uses a system that accesses customer consumption information from a transmission and distribution utility's provisioned advanced meter.
