Retail Supplier Names Former Direct Energy SVP As New CEO

Sperian Energy has named Rob Comstock as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Comstock previously served as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Direct Energy's U.S. residential energy business, as well as SVP of the Direct Energy's Canadian Home & Business Services and Vice President of Operations.

Most recently, Comstock served as Executive Vice President at Cablevision

Sperian Energy said that Comstock will prepare the company for expansion into new markets, commodities and product offerings.

"My time in the cable and telecommunication industry also provided me with a unique view of the consumer, particularly as it relates to the connected world," Comstock said. "As has been my experience with other successful companies, at Sperian, our goal will be to differentiate ourselves by exceeding expectations with service, and offering solutions to help customers take advantage of the latest energy efficiencies, technology, security, or other methods available to leverage today's connected devices."
