Retail Supplier Names New CEO After Acquisition

Talen Energy Marketing, LLC reported to regulators that Ralph Alexander will serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, following the previously reported recent close of a transaction under which the company's parent, Talen Energy Corporation, merged with an affiliate of Riverstone Holdings LLC.

At the time the merger closed in early December, Alexander had been announced as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Talen Energy Corporation, but Alexander's position in the same capacity for the company's retail supplier Talen Energy Marketing had not previously been disclosed.

Alexander previously held numerous positions at BP, including Chief Executive Officer of BP’s Gas, Power and Renewables and Solar segment

Other Talen Energy Corporation officers will hold the same roles at the company's Talen Energy Marketing subsidiary, including:

• Alejandro Hernandez: Chief Financial Officer

• Thomas G. Douglass, Jr.: General Counsel and Secretary

• Russell Clelland: Treasurer

• William H. Fleenor: Chief Accounting Officer
