TXU Says Cash Back Program Surpasses $300 Million in Customer Loyalty Rewards Payments

TXU Energy announced that, with the annual cash back rewards it has paid to customers to start 2017, its cash back program has now paid more than $300 million to customers over 10 years.

In January 2016, TXU had previously said that total cash back payments as of January 2016 were nearly $270 million

TXU said that it has paid more than $40 million in cash back rewards annually for the past several years.

TXU's cash back payment to the customer is based on the amount of electricity that the customer uses while on an eligible plan during the previous year.
