Group Purchasing Organization With 10,000+ Member Locations Selects Retail Supplier

CHAMPS Group Purchasing, a group purchasing organization originally focused on various health care institutions but which has expanded to non-health members, announced that it signed an expanded contract with IGS Energy to offer IGS services to its members under an agreement that runs through Oct. 31, 2019.

The new contract expands the service offered by IGS under the program beyond Ohio. The service area for natural gas expands outside of Ohio to include California, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Virginia and, for electricity, Illinois, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

IGS Energy first became CHAMPS Group Purchasing contract vendor in 1998
