PECO Posts Prices From Default Service Procurement

PECO has posted results from its March 2017 procurement of a portion of electric default service supplies for various periods through 2019.

For residential electric default service, PECO's procurement resulted in weighted average winning bid prices ($/MWh) as follows:

June 2017–May 2019    $56.85         11

Each tranche is 1.6% of class load

For small commercial electric default service, PECO's procurement resulted in weighted average winning bid prices ($/MWh) as follows:

June 2017–May 2019    $54.56          3

Each tranche is 4.17% of class load

For medium and large C&I service, the auction resulted in a weighted average price adder (to hourly PJM prices) of $2.78/MWh for the term June 2017 to May 2018
