AARP Seeks Local Public Hearings In New York PSC Evidentiary Review of Retail Energy Mass Market

AARP petitioned the New York PSC to hold several local hearings to receive public comment on the New York PSC's evidentiary review of the retail energy mass market.

"AARP believes that there is significant interest among the public about the important Energy Service Company (ESCO) issues currently under consideration by the Public Service Commission in this matter," AARP said

"The consumers who would be directly impacted by the policies being proposed should have an opportunity to express their views directly at local forums," AARP said

AARP specifically recommended that local hearings be held in:

• New York City (Brooklyn)

• Syracuse

• Buffalo
