World Fuel Services, Inc. applied for an Ohio natural gas supplier license to serve all sizes of commercial and industrial customers in all service areas.

World Fuel Services Corporation is the parent of electricity and natural gas procurement advisors and brokers Kinect Energy Group and U.S. Energy Services, Inc.

World Fuel Services is currently also licensed to provide competitive natural gas services in Iowa with operations in the Black Hills Energy, Interstate Power and Light Company, and MidAmerican Energy Company service territories. In 2016 World Fuel Services supplied over 6.5 million Mcf in Iowa with sales to an average of 10 unique large industrial customers per month.

World Fuel Services is the parent of Beach Front Energy Holdings Company, LLC, whose BFE Scheduling, LLC unit has previously held retail electric supplier licenses
