Cable, Telecom Bill Savings Service Acquires Retail Energy Shopping Service

BillFixers, LLC, which provides a bill negotiation and savings service to consumers, has acquired energy shopping service ReallyObjective.

ReallyObjective offers a shared-savings model in which it reviews retail energy plans available to consumers and is compensated by sharing in any savings it finds, with ReallyObjective receiving 50% of any savings

ReallyObjective's service is available in Ohio

BillFixers offers a similar shared savings service

To date, BillFixers had focused on building a service focused on providing savings on non-energy bills (cable, internet, phone service, etc.) by negotiating on behalf of customers with various providers

BillFixers describes its service as, "You send us your bills, we get them lower, and we split the savings down the middle -- no hidden fees, no hold music, and no hassle."

ReallyObjective was founded by deregulated energy pioneer Lance Schneier, who previously founded several retail suppliers and marketers such as Accent Energy and Access Energy
