Several More Mothballed ERCOT Units Returning To Operational Status

ERCOT issued market notices reporting that several currently mothballed generation units are returning to operational status

ERCOT said in a market notice that on April 13, 2018, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for the Generation Resource City of Garland Gibbons, Creek Generation Station (GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1)

The NCGRD states GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1, which is currently under a mothballed status, will change to a status of operational as of May 17, 2018.

Additionally, ERCOT said in a market notice that on April 13, 2018, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for the Generation Resources City of Garland, Spencer 4 (SPNCER_SPNCE_4) and City of Garland, Spencer 5 (SPNCER_SPNCE_5).

The NCGRD states SPNCER_SPNCE_4 and SPNCER_SPNCE_5, which are currently under mothballed status, will change to operational status as of June 1, 2018.
