Maryland Governor Announces Public Service Commission Chair Appointment

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced the appointment of Jason M. Stanek as incoming chair of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
Stanek most recently served as Senior Counsel to the Energy Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Energy and Commerce Committee. Prior to that, he served 16 years in progressively senior positions in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Stanek will fill the position currently held by W. Kevin Hughes, who is stepping down effective June 30, 2018.
