Retail Choice Proponent Powelson Stepping Down From FERC

FERC Commissioner Robert Powelson announced that he will be leaving his position as FERC Commissioner in mid-August.
Powelson announced that, after leaving the Commission, he will become the President and CEO of the National Association of Water Companies.
Previously, Powelson, while Chair of the Pennsylvania PUC, had led an investigation into improving Pennsylvania's retail electric market and has been a proponent of customer choice
