Nexus Ventures, LLC, a Texas-based solar developer and energy investor, announced that Duane Lock, President of River Oaks Energy, has joined Nexus Ventures as an advisory board member and partner.

In his new role, Lock will work with the executive team and investors of Nexus Ventures by advancing the development of renewable energy and solar energy projects in Texas to retail and wholesale markets.

Lock is the Founder and President of River Oaks Energy, which offers electricity brokering, consulting, risk management, and related services. Lock previously served as Director, Product and Business Development at TXU
