SouthStar Energy Services LLC d/b/a Maryland Energy intends to cease providing natural gas service in the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company service area, and will no longer be participating as a supplier in the choice program in the BGE territory effective November 1, 2019

SouthStar is notifying its customers in the BGE service area of SouthStar's exit, and that they may choose to take service from another supplier or default sales service from BGE. In the event the customer does not select another supplier, SouthStar will return the customer to BGE default service

SouthStar will continue to provide service in the Washington Gas Light Company service area.
