Broker Active In Municipal Aggregations Seeks Pennsylvania License

Independent Energy Consultants, Inc. applied for a Pennsylvania electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.

Independent Energy Consultants, Inc. (IEC) describes itself as, "an experienced independent energy service company that specializes in helping local municipalities create and manage electric and natural gas Municipal Aggregation Programs."

In its Pennsylvania application, IEC states, "IEC is a pioneer in the U.S. in design, implementation and ongoing administration of Governmental opt-in and opt-out aggregation programs. Should the Commonwealth ever enable opt-out aggregation programs, IEC would seek to serve those programs."

"IEC works with Commercial and Industrial customers to source and manage natural gas and electric contracts, as well as to develop and implement Energy Efficiency Programs," the company says
