CenterPoint-TDU Files To Cease Billing Transition Charge To Retail Electric Providers

CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (CEHE) has filed at the Public Utility Commission of Texas to temporarily cease billing transition charges to retail electric providers under Schedule TC3, effective December 7, 2019
CEHE currently estimates that no further billings under Schedule TC3 are required after December 6, 2019
Under CEHE's filing, the amount for Schedule TC3 for each class would be set to zero, effective December 7, 2019
The final bond payment on the Schedule TC3 transition bonds is scheduled for February 1, 2020. Before the end of the term of Schedule TC3, CenterPoint Houston will submit another compliance filing to address any final over- or under-collections under Schedule TC3. In the meantime, there will be no further annual true-up process for Schedule TC3.
