On June 29, 2020, Vistra Energy Corp. (the 'Company') filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Delaware a Certificate of Amendment to the Company’s Restated Certificate of Incorporation (the 'Certificate of Amendment') to change the legal name of the Company from 'Vistra Energy Corp.' to 'Vistra Corp.' effective as of July 2, 2020

The company had not used the term "Energy" in its name in several recent press releases but had not previously formally addressed the change

The Vistra logo has also dropped the word "Energy" from the logo

The company has also adopted the new domain name vistracorp.com, to which vistraenergy.com now redirects

Vistra is the parent of several retail energy suppliers including TXU Energy, Ambit Energy, and Dynegy

The Company’s common stock, par value $0.01 per share (the 'Common Stock') and warrants (the 'Warrants') will continue trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols 'VST' and 'VST.WS.A,' respectively
