Texas REP Enters Asset Purchase Agreement, Transferring REP Certificate, Customer Contracts

Quest Distributors LLC d/b/a My Quest Energy filed at the Texas PUC for an amendment to its REP certificate to request Commission approval of the transfer and change of ownership of Quest Distributors LLC's REP certificate, customer contracts, and assumed names to MQE, LLC.

Quest Distributors LLC has entered into an asset purchase agreement with MQE, LLC, through which MQE, LLC will purchase all of the tangible and intangible assets of Quest Distributors LLC.

According to Texas Secretary of State records, MQE, LLC is managed by MQE Management, LLC. According to Texas Secretary of State records, MQE Management, LLC is managed by Aziz Jiwani

Aziz Jiwani is newly listed as President of MQE, LLC d/b/a My Quest Energy under the REP certificate amendment.

Under the REP certificate amendment, Malik Charania remains with My Quest Energy with a listed title of Vice President. Charania currently serves in a similar role at the current REP certificate holder Quest Distributors LLC

Under the REP certificate amendment MQE, LLC would retain the d/b/a My Quest Energy and would no longer use the name Quest Distributors LLC
