FERC issued an order approving the application of NRG Energy, Inc. (NRG), Direct Energy Marketing Inc. (Direct Marketing), Direct Energy Services, LLC (Direct Services), Direct Energy Business, LLC (Direct Business), Direct Energy Business Marketing, LLC (Direct Business Marketing), and Gateway Energy Services Corporation (Gateway) for a transaction whereby NRG will acquire all the equity interests in Direct Marketing, Direct Services, Direct Business, Direct Business Marketing, and Gateway (collectively, Direct Companies)
