BGE Residential Generation Rate To Increase 12% In October

Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed new residential and Type I SOS rates for the period beginning October 1, 2021, new Type II rates for the three-month period beginning June 1, 2021, and new bypassable SOS admin. charges, to be effective June 1, 2021 (impacting the previously set summer 2021 SOS rates)
All rates in this story reflect the proposed changes to the SOS admin. charge effective June 1.
The Total Generation Rate discussed below does not include bypassable transmission or reconciliation (Rider 8)
For Schedule R residential customers, BGE's Total Generation Rate for Oct. 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022 will be 6.915 cents per kWh, an increase of 12% from the summer 2021 rate of 6.166 cents per kWh
For Scheds. G/GU Type I SOS customers, BGE's Total Generation Rate for Oct. 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022 will be 6.398 cents per kWh, an increase of 5% from the summer 2021 rate of 6.097 cents per kWh
