Renewable energy developer Community Energy, which serves as a retail supplier in certain markets, has promoted Joel Thomas to President, effective September 15th.
Thomas previously held the role of Executive Vice President of Development.
Thomas joined the company in 2011, leading early community solar market development
Brent Beerley will continue to serve as Community Energy's CEO, leading Community Energy on innovation, vision, and growth strategies.
Thomas will maintain his current role of EVP of Development on an interim basis until the position is filled.
