Power Marketer, Parent Of Retail Supplier Names New Head Of U.S. & Canada Business

Enel Green Power has named Paolo Romanacci the new Head of Enel Green Power North America, Inc., overseeing Enel's renewable power generation business line in the US and Canada.

As exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (story here), a unit of Enel Green Power North America, namely Enel Trading North America, LLC, recently received an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate. As previously reported, Enel Trading North America said that it would use its REP certificate in order to expand its renewable offerings with shorter term, smaller size contracts to mainly sell the energy from its renewable portfolio, targeting large C&I customers

Romanacci previously served as Head of Enel Green Power in Mexico for nearly three years. Romanacci most recently served as Head of Renewable Project Execution overseeing Enel's wind, solar and battery storage construction in North and Central America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. He joined Enel in 2006 and has served in various roles around the world in business development, operations & maintenance and engineering & construction
