BGE Residential SOS Rate Set To Fall 8%

Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed a tariff reflecting summer 2022 SOS rates for mass market customers, and updates to previously set mass market SOS rates for periods beginning February 1, 2022 to reflect changes in the bypassable SOS Admin. charge

On a total SOS rate basis (including transmission, which may change by June 1, but excluding reconciliation), the Residential Schedule R Total SOS rate will decrease to 7.740 cents per kWh in June 2022, from the updated rate of 8.392 cents per kWh that will be effective starting in February 2022.

On a total SOS rate basis (including transmission, which may change by June 1, but excluding reconciliation), the Scheds. G/GU -Type I SOS Total SOS rate will decrease to 7.358 cents per kWh in June 2022, from the updated rate of 7.483 cents per kWh that will be effective starting in February 2022.

Non-TOU summer 2022 rates had been available on an indicative basis, but, as is standard, BGE did not file a formal tariff until receiving wholesale load data to shape mass market optional TOU rates.
