Utility Rescue Holdings Formally Launches New Retail Energy Brand In Texas, Lowest Rate On Power To Choose

Utility Rescue Holdings, Inc., today announced the launch of its newest brand -- JUICE -- in its portfolio of companies offering competitive retail electricity service.

"JUICE targets cost-conscious residential customers with straightforward fixed-price plans and plans that provide refunds at certain usage levels, with time-of-use and net metering plans on the way," Juice said

Juice's forthcoming launch had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com earlier this year

In the Oncor service area, Juice is offering on Power to Choose a 12-month fixed rate (LaserLemon 12) with an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh, of 10.5¢ per kWh, which is the lowest rate, of any product type, on the Power to Choose site as of publication time. The 10.5¢ rate reflects an energy charge of 15.79¢ per kWh, a usage refund of $100 per billing cycle of at least 1,000 kWh, and TDU charges of 4.4076¢ per kWh and $3.42 per billing cycle

The above-described plan includes a termination fee of $20 per month remaining in the initial term.

The Juice brand uses a blended energy and fruit motif with available plans such as the "WiredCherry," the "ElectricLime," and the "AMPricot" at various term lengths and features.

"All JUICE customers are also eligible for bill reduction, rooftop solar, insurance, and other services from the other Utility Rescue companies and affiliates," Juice said

Utility Rescue is the holding company for companies including: VIV bill negotiation, Utiliz energy brokerage, Blue Aspen Insurance, Flagship Power retail electricity, and The American Solar Company.
