Energy broker-consultant River Oaks Energy and independent power producer Nexus Renewable Power announced that they have entered a strategic partnership.
Nexus is a Texas-based company that, among other services, develops, finances, and operates solar and energy storage assets, while also coordinating the delivery of solar renewable energy to end users.
"With 10,000 acres secured and 1.5 GWs under development by Nexus, River Oaks Energy, and Nexus are positioned to be a leader in solar development and operations over the next few years," said Duane Lock, River Oaks Energy’s President.
The companies said that they will, "bring a comprehensive strategy, creative ways of purchasing renewable energy, efficient resource deployment tactics, and client support to modernize the generation and delivery and lower the cost of energy."
River Oaks Energy also announced that two retail energy vets have joined its team: Dorothy Abney and Holly Scott
Abney has spent 12 years in the energy industry covering many roles including sales, management, and administration, with stints at Good Energy and TES.
Scott has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry and has held positions at Reliant/NRG, Direct Energy, and TXU Energy.
River Oaks Energy also said that it, "has enhanced its customer relations cloud-based software capabilities, offering additional insights as to how energy is used, consumed, and utilized with data that was unavailable until now."
