PECO has posted results from its September 2026 procurement for a portion of electricity default service supplies for various periods through 2028.

Though delivery periods differ, winning prices were generally in line with the March 2026 procurement (within $1 or $2 per MWh)

However, the September 2026 prices are generally about $10 per MWh higher than prices in the September 2025 procurement, with some of the September 2025 products being replaced by products procured in the September 2026 auction

Specifically, the Dec. 2025 to Nov. 2026 residential tranches, from the Sept. 2025 procurement, had a weighted price of $88.15 per MWh, while the comparable residential tranches for the Dec. 2026 to Nov. 2027 period, from the September 2026 auction, have a weighted price of $98.23 per MWh (about 11% higher)

For commercial service, the Dec. 2025 to Nov. 2026 commercial tranches, from the Sept. 2025 procurement, had a weighted price of $83.60 per MWh, while the comparable commercial tranches for the Dec. 2026 to Nov. 2027 period, from the September 2026 auction, have a weighted price of $93.06 per MWh (about 12% higher)

PECO's Sept. 2026 procurement resulted in weighted average winning bid prices ($/MWh) as follows. All products listed below were fixed-price full requirements.
