Retail Supplier Acquires Broker

NOCO, which operates as an ESCO and broker in addition to offering various energy and fuel services, has acquired VARO, a commercial energy brokerage and advisory firm

The acquisition expands NOCO’s commercial energy reach into seven new states: Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, alongside VARO’s existing New York customers.

VARO will continue operating as a standalone advisory firm within NOCO, focused on energy procurement, utility liaison services, and analytics-based consulting.

VARO's customers now also have access to NOCO’s full range of energy services.

VARO co-founder Ken Rowen and Energy Analyst Deven Wistner are joining the NOCO team
