Texas Retail Energy Seeks Illinois License
Texas Retail Energy, LLC applied Thursday for an Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license. A copy of Texas Retail Energy's application was not immediately available. Texas Retail Energy, which serves as Wal-Mart's self-supplier, is currently licensed in Texas and New York.

Kansas Energy Receives Ohio Gas License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Kansas Energy LLC a natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential customers, in all service areas (12/28). Since 2002, Kansas Energy LLC has operated in wholesale marketing & trading, serving natural gas producers, independent power producers, utilities, industrial users, and other energy wholesalers. Among those leading Kansas Energy's expansion into retail choice is Randy Bitsky, who joined Kansas Energy as Vice President of Origination in 2010 after several years in supply and similar roles at Constellation Energy Group, where Bitsky worked in the Ohio, Maryland, California, and Texas choice markets. Additionally, Jay Jordan will serve as a senior trader for Kansas Energy. Jordan was most recently a trader at Integrys Energy Services.

Integrity Energy, LTD applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas.

Acclaim Energy Seeks Ohio Gas Broker License
Acclaim Energy, Ltd. applied for an Ohio natural gas broker license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas.
