Over 4,000 Residential Customers Migrate to Competitive Supply at PECO in Past Week

A net of over 4,000 new residential customers migrated to a competitive electric supplier at PECO from April 13 to April 19, according to the most recent statistics from the Pennsylvania PUC.

Matters has also compiled a comparison of the migration levels from the 4/20/11 Report versus the 4/13/11 Report, as well as comparing the rate of migration in each of the past two weeks. Note that the 4/20/11 Report did not contain any more recent data for PPL and Duquesne Light versus the 4/13/11 Report.

At PECO, new residential migration during the most recent week (April 13 through April 19) was 4,100 on a net basis, in line with the 4,700 reported two weeks ago.
In the most recent week, West Penn Power saw 5,971 new residential shoppers, versus zero net growth two weeks ago.
Penelec, for the most recent week, saw 2,577 new residential shoppers, which is even with the 2,535 net gain two weeks ago.
