The Georgia PSC approved several waiver requests to allow Infinite Energy to offer a prepaid product for natural gas service.
Infinite Energy's application to offer prepaid service was first reported by Matters (see 5/23).
Specifically, the PSC granted waivers of Commission Rules 515-3-3-.01(e), 515-7-6-.02(a)(4), subsections (c),(d)6, and (e), and 515-7-9-.04(h), for those customers taking prepaid service.
Under Infinite's prepay program, it will notify customers that they could be shut-off for non-payment within 25 days of the date the bill is mailed to the customers or posted electronically.
