GDF Suez Mass Marketer Seeks Ohio Electric License
GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions, LLC, d/b/a Think Energy, applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve commercial customers in all service areas. As only reported by Matters, GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions is a new subsidiary of GDF Suez Energy Resources NA formed to serve small volume electric customers (7/27)
South Jersey Energy Co. Receives Expanded Pennsylvania License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted South Jersey Energy Co. an expanded natural gas supplier license to include service to all sizes of commercial and industrial customers at UGI Penn Natural Gas. The application was first reported in Matters (8/22). Previously, South Jersey Energy Company was authorized to serve customers at National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, PECO Energy Company, Philadelphia Gas Works and UGI Utilities, Inc.
Amerigreen Energy Receives Expanded Pennsylvania License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Amerigreen Energy, Inc. an expanded natural gas supplier license to include service at Columbia Gas. The application was first reported in Matters (8/30). Amerigreen Energy was previously authorized to serve residential, small commercial, large commercial, industrial, and governmental customers at PECO Gas and UGI Utilities, Inc.
Shop My Power Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Shop My Power Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (8/15). Shop My Power, Inc. currently offers an online brokering website for the ERCOT market, and will similarly use a website portal to list various supplier offers in Pennsylvania.
Pa. PUC Dismisses Branded Retail Energy Co. Broker Application Without Prejudice
The Pennsylvania PUC dismissed without prejudice the electric broker/marketer application of Branded Retail Energy Co. LLC for failure to respond to supplemental data requests. The application was first reported in Matters (12/29). As previously reported, Branded Retail Energy Co. specializes in creating branded broker/affinity channels, such as Texas Longhorns Energy.
Alphabuyer Receives Pa. Gas Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Alphabuyer LLC a natural gas broker/marketer license to serve residential and commercial customers in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (10/1/10).
5Linx Enterprises Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted 5Linx Enterprises Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers at PECO and PPL. The application was first reported in Matters (8/16).
Insource Power Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Insource Power Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers at Met-Ed, Penelec, PPL Electric, PECO Energy, West Penn Power, and Duquesne Light. The application was first reported in Matters (7/11).
Dome-Tech Inc. Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Dome-Tech Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (8/9). Dome-Tech is 100% owned by Carrier Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation

PUCT Approves Transfer of Twin Eagle Resource Management REP Certificate
The PUCT granted Twin Eagle Resource Management, LLC's application to transfer its recently granted REP certificate to subsidiary TERM Power & Gas, LLC, as a means of removing Robert Doty, CFO of the parent, from the role of an officer of a Texas REP, consistent with an agreement with Staff (see 8/18). The transfer shall be effective 21 days after TERM files proof that the Electric Reliability Council of Texas has qualified TERM to participate in the ERCOT electric market.
