Viridian Reports Maryland Enrollments As of September 30

As of September 30, 2011, Viridian Energy was serving 24,087 active electric customers in Maryland, according to a compliance report filed with the PSC.
This compares to 24,825 active electric customers in Maryland as of August 31, 2011, and 26,320 active electric customers in Maryland as of July 31, 2011.
The net loss of 738 Maryland customers during the month of September was despite gross enrollments of 215. Gross enrollments in August were 394, and gross enrollments in July were 536.
The September net loss of 738 Maryland customers does compare favorably to the net loss of 1,495 Maryland customers during the month of August.
At BGE, Viridian was serving 17,005 customers as of September 30, versus 17,455 customers as of August 31.
Gross enrollments at BGE during September were 131.
At Pepco, Viridian was serving 7,082 customers as of September 30, versus 7,370 customers as of August 31.
Gross enrollments at Pepco during September were 84.
Viridian said that it had 2,515 active independent associates in Maryland as of September 30.
