For the period October 9 through October 15, PPL saw a net increase of 762 residential customers on competitive supply. This compares favorably to the net decrease of 481 residential shoppers in the immediately prior week.

PPL's last increase in residential migration had been a net gain of 650 migrated accounts for the period September 25 through October 1, which had been the first net growth in residential migration at PPL in over a month.

Elsewhere, Penn Power recorded a net gain of only 62 new residential shoppers during the most recent week, coming close to complete stagnation, and even reversal, in residential migration.

PECO continued its consistent weekly residential migration growth at 3,000 accounts for the most recent week, versus 2,700 accounts a week ago and 2,500 the week before that.

The decline in residential migration growth at West Penn Power, where migration has slowed dramatically over the past two months, leveled off somewhat, at growth of 900 migrated accounts for the week, down only marginally from the week-ago growth of 1,000 accounts.

Residential migration growth at Met-Ed, Penelec, and Duquesne Light was essentially steady versus the week-ago numbers in the 500-600 customer range.
