Hearing Date Pushed Back for Consideration of Use of AEP Trade Name by Mass Market REP

A hearing to determine whether retail supplier AEP Texas Commercial & Industrial Retail Limited Partnership may use the AEP trade name in connection with service to customers under 1 MW in ERCOT has been rescheduled for February 2-3, 2012 (9/12). The original hearing dates were January 18-19, 2012 (Docket 39509).

Calif. PUC Re-posts Revised Draft on ESP Security Requirements

Consistent with its public meeting rules, the California PUC re-posted Revision 2 of a proposed decision to establish electric service provider security requirements, and address other related matters. The content of Revision 2 was reported by Matters when originally issued several weeks ago (see 10/20). Among other things, the Revision 2 draft eliminates incremental procurement costs for non-mass market customers returned to bundled service during a mass transition from the calculation of the ESP security requirement.
