Sperian Illinois Application Limited to ComEd

Sperian Energy Corp. is seeking to serve all customer classes at Commonwealth Edison under its Illinois electric supplier application, first reported by Matters yesterday. Sperian also disclosed in its application several recent additions to its executive team, including President Randy Lennan. Lennan was previously Director of Business Development at GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA and has held a variety of leadership roles at various marketers and retail energy consultants over a 20-year career. Steve Malkiewicz, former Senior Vice President and COO at Semco Energy who has since run a management consulting firm for retail suppliers, serves as CFO. Jon Parrella, founder of Discount Power, has also joined Sperian as Executive Vice President of Operations.
